20ct Bolivian Ametrine Cut by Bernd Munsteiner

Not for sale · from our collection

A 20 ct Bolivian ametrine cut by Bernd Munsteiner (b. 1943), the German lapidary who invented the fantasy cut and is often called the Picasso of the gemstone world; his work is in the Smithsonian. The stone has a buff top with fantasy cuts on the back, and comes from the renowned Anahí mine in Bolivia, which long ago closed and produced the finest ametrine the world has known. Breathtaking in person. This stone is from our own collection and is not for sale; it represents the standard we hold ourselves to. We can source designer-cut stones of this calibre for you.
