3.03 ct Natural Burma Ruby
Price on request
A vivid red natural ruby of 3.03 carats from Burma (Myanmar), in a cushion cut. The GIA report states the geographic origin as Burma (Myanmar) and notes that the color appearance of the stone is described in the trade as "Pigeon's Blood". As GIA says, any statement on geographic origin is an expert opinion based on observations and analytical data.
The stone is heated, with moderate residues, which GIA records on the report. Heating is a common, accepted treatment for ruby, and we always disclose it. Fine rubies of three carats or more are rare, and a clear lab record makes this one easier to insure and resell.
